Wakefield Museum Association
Programs: The mission of the Wakefield Museum Association is: To serve as custodian of the history of the community of Wakefield. To collect and display memorabilia of the community. To archive the genealogical records of the people who founded, lived in and presently live in the community. The Wakefield Museum consists of three wings, each wing having two floors. Clark County Nevada Genealogical Society
The Clark County Nevada Genealogical Society (CCNGS) has been a part of the Clark county community since 1976. We hold meetings the third Thursday of every month at which time a mini-class, short business meeting, and a general program are presented. Two instructional seminars are held each year, one in March and a second in October. We offer the following pioneer certificates to individuals whose ancestors were in our area; these are the Nevada Pioneer Certificate, the Clark County Settler Certificate, the Early Las Vegas Certificate, and the Nevadan. Programs: monthly. Info = We are the Allen COunty Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society. We have an executive board meeting in January. In July, we have induction into First Families of Allen County (to be eligible, your ancestors must have been in Allen COunty by 1840). In November, we have the annual elections and banquet. In December, we have no meeting. In August there is no meeting but we usually take a field trip. We have a newsletter, which is published 6 times a year and we
have genealogy volunteers at the Allen County Museum library on Wednesdays.

Tarentum Genealogical Society

ROOTS Users Group (RUG) of Arlington VA
Meets monthly year round. The RUG is a not-for-profit mutual self help group of amateur genealogists that use the ROOTS and UFT software. The user group provides for open exhange of genealogical information for its 600+ members from over 40 states, the District of Columbia, and several foreign countries. The RUG has been active since 1989.

WISCONSIN
Green County Genealogical Society
We meet the first Saturday of the month at the Monroe Public Library at 10 AM with at least nine meetings. We will meet during the summer months for cemetery copying. We are a new group having organized in April of 2001. Our goal is to copy all known cemeteries in Green County so the listings are preserved. We enjoy meeting with others to spread the word about family history.
Walworth County Genealogical Society, Inc
Programs: 12. - WCGS is diligently walking all county cemeteries and publishing them as quickly as possible. We have also published the first volume of newspaper indexes with many more to come. One publication is the first book of Declarations & Naturalizations. We provide workshops and other events as needed. We have monthly programs in the evening, and have recently started several afternoon "hands-on" meetings. At many of our meetings, in addition to the speaker, we have "mini-lessons" on some genealogically related topic. This may be a book/magazine review, discussion of a genealogical search or vacation, discussions of PERSI, how to write a query, and many other topics. We have members who will be glad to speak at meetings or events. Several of these people have been giving genealogy and writing family history classes.
